On April 2, 2014 at World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development (WDC-Ukraine) the meeting was held between the Rector of NTUU "KPI", scientific supervisor of WDC-Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of NAS of Ukraine M. Zgurovsky and the delegation of the State Scientific-Production Enterprise "Cartography" led by its Chief, Doctor of Geography - Rostyslav Sossa.

During the negotiations, the presentations of scientific and applied works of WDC-Ukraine and SSPE "Cartography" were made and the main directions of agencies’ cooperation were specified. In the course of the meeting the signing of the Agreement on partnership, cooperation and scientific exchange between the State Scientific-Production Enterprise "Cartography" and WDC-Ukraine took place. The conduction of applied and scientific developments in the field of geoinformation technologies, the participation of SSPE "Cartography" in data exchange with WDC-Ukraine, and involvement of the students from NTUU "KPI" into the production practices on the basis of SSPE "Cartography" were identified as promising areas of cooperation between the organizations.
