12th International Conference on Damage Assessment of Structures DAMAS 2017

Jul 10 2017

Kitakyushu, Japan
Mon, 10 Jul, 09:00 – Wed, 12 Jul 2017, 20:00

This is the twelfth in a series of biennial international conferences, which aim to bring together the expertise of scientists and engineers in academia and industry in the field of damage assessment, structural health monitoring and non-destructive evaluation.

The DAMAS conference is now well established as a major forum for discussion and dissemination of recent advances in damage detection, assessment and quantification, following the ten previous ones in Pescara (Italy, 1995), Sheffield (UK, 1997), Dublin (Ireland, 1999), Cardiff (UK, 2001), Southampton (UK, 2003), Gdansk (Poland, 2005), Torino (Italy, 2007), Beijing (China, 2009), Oxford (UK, 2011), Dublin (Ireland, 2013) and Ghent (Belgium, 2015).

The conference will cover all research topics relevant to damage assessment of engineering structures and systems including numerical simulations, signal processing of sensor measurements and theoretical techniques as well as experimental case studies.
