Representatives of the World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development took part in the presentation of the establishment of the SE "Ukrainian National Center for Peacebuilding", including the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Scientific Supervisor of the WDC-Ukraine Michael Zgurovsky, director of WDC-Ukraine Kostiantyn Yefremov, head of the Laboratory for Econometrics and Forecasting Ivan Pyshnograiev and geoinformation technology specialist Serhii Gapon.

During his speech, Michael Zgurovsky explained how we can save the water supply of Donbass.

A modular principle of solving the problem is proposed: in each mining town an autonomous system can be installed, which processes underground mine waters and provides the city with clean water. This project is designed for a number of cities in the region.

The World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development has already joined the development of forecasts and analysis of large amounts of data that will help to quickly and competently make decisions on important issues of Donbass.
