The delegation of University of Missouri at NTUU "KPI"

The delegation of the University of Missouri (Columbia, USA) has visited the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" on August 18-19, writes press-service of NTUU"KPI".

Columbia University is the largest in the state of Missouri and it is well known in the U.S. not only for its humanities (including the Faculty of Journalism), but also technical studies.

The delegation consisted of university teachers and researchers. It was headed by the Deputy Dean for Academic Programs - Lex Akers.

U.S. delegation has exchanged their opinions with leaders of several institutes and departments of NTUU “KPI”, they have visited Scientific Park "Kyiv Polytechnic", and World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development (WDC Ukraine), established at NTU "KPI".

Finally, guests not only talked with the students - participants of the Sixth International Summer School "Achievements and Applications of Contemporary Informatics, Mathematics and Physics» (AACIMP-2011), six students there are representatives of the University of Missouri, but also took part in the closing ceremony.

Preliminary agreement on further cooperation will be displayed in a separate document which will clarify the areas and conditions for specific projects in cooperation of NTUU “KPI” and Missouri University.
