Quality of Life Index , developed by the international organization International Living. This index is formed with the help of the following nine indicators: cost of living, rest and culture, economic situation, environmental conditions, freedom of people, health, infrastructure, risks and safety of life, climatic conditions.

Environmental Performance Index (EPI) is a method of quantifying and numerically benchmarking the environmental performance of a country's policies. This index was developed from the Pilot Environmental Performance Index, first published in 2002, and designed to supplement the environmental targets set forth in the U.N. Millennium Development Goals.

Economic Freedom Index , is developed by the Heritage Foundation. The Economic Freedom Index is formed with the following ten indicators: the trade policy of country, the fiscal load on the part of government, governmental intervention in the economy, monetary policy, streams of capital and foreign investment, banking and financial activity, the policy of shaping prices and payments, the right to private property, a policy of regulation, and the informal activity of the market. These ten indicators are calculated based on expert estimation and using various sets of economic, financial, legislative and administrative data.

Growth Competitiveness Index , which was developed by the organizers of World Economic Forum. This index is annually defined for 125-131 economies of the world and published in the form of so-called «the Global Competitiveness Report». The index of competitiveness is composed of three groups (categories of economic policy) of complex indicators: 1 — a group of basic requirements indicators; 2 — a group of efficiency enhancers and 3 — a group of innovation and sophistication indicators.

Нова програма спільної підготовки магістрів та кандидатів наук (M.Sc. & Ph.D.) «Сталий розвиток та державне управління: глобальний та регіональний контексти».
Метою програми є підготовка менеджерів вищого рівня та системних аналітиків, що спроможні приймати науково обґрунтовані та практично доцільні рішення із врахуванням концепції сталого розвитку на державному та муніципальних рівнях.
Дана магістерська програма є спільною програмою НТУУ «КПІ» та інших університетів-партнерів з консорціуму «Цетрально-східно-європейський інститут зі сталого розвитку». Для викладання на цій програмі запрошено найкращих фахівців з України. Викладання буде проводитися за сучасними методиками з використанням інформаційних технологій та нових засобів навчання.
Магістерську програму зі сталого розвитку організовано як другу вищу освіту. Якщо наразі Ви вже є студентом магістратури, Ви можете навчатися на пропонованій спеціальності паралельно, здобуваючи другий диплом. Заняття проходитимуть у вечірні години та не перетинатимуться з заняттями денної форми навчання. Більш того, після захисту магістерської роботи Ви можете продовжити навчання, захистити дисертацію та отримати ступінь Ph.D.
