The service provides a convenient and public access to data on sustainable development. It allows data for separate countries and gives a possibility to compare data for different countries in tabular or visual form.

The assessment of environmental threats for regions sustainable development in Ukraine and a modified technique for evaluation of ecological dimension index of sustainable development.
The report encompasses a technique of environmental threats level assessment in aspect of sustainable development of Ukraine’s regions. Environmental threats structures are reasoned and threats components aggregation procedures are set up. A modified technique for evaluation of ecological dimension index of sustainable development of Ukraine’s regions is proposed.

Major macroeconomic indicators for assessing financial stability.
The presentation is based on the research conducted regarding macroeconomic indicators, which have been used to not only assess the state and vulnerabilities of a financial system, but also to predict future crises. Particular attention is paid to the indicators that have been most commonly used in the Early Warning Systems, which, in turn, have been effective in identifying the financial systems’ vulnerabilities to the financial crisis of 2008-2009. Some of these indicators are highlighted, and the importance of their analysis is explained.

Наприкінці минулого року в Москві відбулася міжнародна нарада з питань співпраці Світових центрів даних (СЦД) Росії та України і реорганізації Системи світових центрів даних (World Data Center System) у Світову систему даних (World Data System). Ця нарада стала останньою ланкою на шляху остаточного визнання світовою науковою спільнотою українського Світового центру даних з геоінформатики та сталого розвитку (http://wdc.org.ua), а ухвалене нею рішення про організацію на основі Світових центрів даних наших двох країн Східно-Європейського регіонального кластеру Світової системи даних – важливим кроком до створення єдиного інформаційного простору для збору, обробки, обміну та використання даних для наукових досліджень. |

Late last year Moscow hosted an international meeting on the cooperation of World Data Center (WDC) of Russia and Ukraine and reorganization Systems World Data Center (World Data Center System) in the global system data (World Data System). This meeting was the last link to a definitive recognition by the world scientific community Ukrainian World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development (http://wdc.org.ua), and adopted its decision on the organization on the basis of global data centers of our two East European countries regional cluster global system data - an important step towards creating a unified information space for gathering, processing, exchange and use data for research. |
